Ravens advance to the Chump Bowl

Coach Billick actually let Kyle Boller throw the ball a couple of times in this one... he completed a total of 5 passes (one of which was a touchdown). Jamal Lewis again ran for over 300 yards. And, despite an All-Pro caliber game from Lav Coles, the Ravens came out on top of this one, 37-15.

giants keep playoff hopes alive... just barely

After a very disappointing season the giants finally came away with their first win. It was no blow-out though as the packers almost came back to take the lead. This game was decided by turnovers, nothing fancy nothing pretty.

Sorry for the short version but I don't have the timeon my hands like other analysts that think people actually care about reading a five page essay(yeah that was a shot at you two knuckleheads!).

Anyways great game Ben.

Redskins Vs Ravens

In the annual Beltway Battle, it was Jamal Lewis' day. Kyle Boller was reduced to no more than a conduit through which to get Lewis the ball. Jamal carried the ball 40 times, for an all-time NFL record 377 yards and 5 TDs. While giving him the occasional breather, Musa Smith racked up 119 yards on 12 carries, along with 2 scores. Boller, normally a solid QB, only attempted 5 passes, with 1 completion and 1 interception.

On the Redskins' side, Mark Brunell was knocked out of the game halfway through the second quarter on a vicious sack by Anthony Weaver. Patrick Ramsey, although marginally effective, could never get much going.

The Ravens stormed to a quick 21-0 lead, and they never relinquished it. The Skins had a few drives that closed the gap, but the Ravens ground game chewed up the clock with long drive after long drive.

Ultimately, the Ravens lead proved to be insurmountable. When the game ended, Baltimore was on top: 52-20. Baltimore handed the Redskins their first loss of the season, resulting in each team being 2-1.
